These are End Grain Butcher Blocks. End Grain boards are the most durable, cut resistant boards available because the wood fibers are extremely hard and these are 'self-healing' boards, meaning they hold up to cut marks and heavy use extremely well. You can't get any tougher then a End grain Butcher Block. These boards will last a lifetime. These boards are 12" by 18" by 1 3/8 thick. Super smooth finish. These Boards have hand grips on either side of the board for easy carrying. Typically End grain boards do NOT come with a juice groove on the reverse side, so these will be solid on both sides. All Boards come Oiled with food safe Mineral oil and Beeswax. Doing this allows you to use the boards right away and eliminates any work on your end getting these ready for Re-sale.
