About JennyGems
JennyGems started at Jenny and Dave's kitchen table, selling antiques and collectibles part time to help support their family while raising daughters Jillian and Sarah. After Jenny was laid off from her banking job, Dave encouraged her to sell online full time. It worked, and a few years later Dave left his job too. At the end of 2015, they officially launched JennyGems. For years their designs were manufactured overseas in China. When the 2019 trade wars hit and they couldn't find a US supplier who could keep up with demand, Jenny and Dave took a huge risk: they invested everything into manufacturing and wood shop equipment to bring production home. The equipment arrived the week before COVID hit. Sales dropped to zero overnight, and they had to lay off their entire team. They didn't quit. They got back on social media, leaned into their Made in USA story, and started rebuilding. Orders came back, then kept growing. Today JennyGems runs an 11,000 square foot production facility in Georgetown, Delaware, with a showroom open to the public. We make commercial signage, wholesale goods, custom orders, and more, all made in the USA.
