They come from almost 60 years of being a large animal vet driving around countless country roads caring for large animals. Some even come from earlier times as a student. They are all stories of irony. Many are humorous, but certainly not all. Some attest to our ability to solve problems in almost impossible situations. Some have sadness in them. Some have a deeper, if unclear, meaning. Certainly, many result in closer and deeper friendships. These are all true stories. That said, I might have changed some of the facts. Maybe some names too.
