a soft stretch jersey fabric, it's all polyester and looks it unfortunately. the cut of the top is beautiful. if the fabric were richer and the skirt was a bit more finished, the cost would be justified. the cut is good, the fabric and the cost per set isn't great. good for a sale rack or a young contemporary budget-shopper.
