Forplay™ was "Born in Hollywood" in 1986, originating as a retail store on the corner of Hollywood Blvd. & Wilcox, and catering to a wide cross section of local shoppers and tourists. Over the years, Forplay's flagship store became a favorite among young Hollywood celebrities and was frequented by local entertainment industry stylists looking for unique outfits for various television shows, motion pictures, and music videos. Forplay™ opened its wholesale division in 1997 in an effort to service the demands of other retail outlets who also wanted to capitalize on the company's distinctive and ever popular product lines. Quickly, the company's wholesale division secured over 1800 business-to-business accounts throughout the United States. Forplay™ products are sold to over 5,000 retail store outlets worldwide including such markets as Europe, Canada, Asia, and Australia. The company relocated its corporate offices to Van Nuys, California, where it currently employs over 55 employees in a 50 thousand square foot office space and distribution center. Forplay™ is a leading designer and manufacturer of women's lifestyle fashion and apparel operating in the global marketplace.
