We aged robust Trinitario cocoa nibs (the inside of the bean) for two years (!!) in heavy char rye whiskey barrels from Blackland Distillery. This process imparts subtle notes of singed oak and malty smoke with underlying tones of balanced whiskey-vanilla-sweetness. It’s our most quietly complex bar yet and it’s in limited supply. We have a finite number of these aged nibs, so once these bars are sold out they’re gone for good. Pairs perfectly with cozy evenings, a glass of rye whiskey or a cheese plate.
