These mushrooms account for the overwhelming majority of mushroom poisoning deaths. Because of their resemblance to several other white mushrooms, it is essential to be able to identify the destroying angel in all of its forms before foraging. Coming across this mushroom in the wild is a sign that, for the love of all that is good, do not eat this mushroom!
