Vice President Kamala Harris has worn her black pearls on many important occasions. She wore them for her first speech on the Senate floor in February 2017, when she kicked off her presidential campaign in Oakland in January 2019, for the second Presidential debate in Detroit in July 2020, and when she honored Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg as the first woman to lie in state in the US Capitol in September 2020.
