Theme: Studio Ghibli Inspired Landscape Painting used on the cover is a scene from a GHIBLI SHORTS, Mizugumo Monmon (水グモもんもん?, lit. Water Spider Monmon). Date: Fri, July 26, 2024 Start: 7pm (please arrive 15 minutes early) End: 9pm (may run longer if we are having too much fun!) Location: Otaku Manga Lounge Address: 2902 Bardstown Rd, Ste E Louisville, KY 40205 Cool down from summer heat with us as we paint a Studio Ghibli inspired landscape scene. You will be taken step-by-step together to paint a beautiful landscape, while focusing on the atmosphere of the scene. This workshop uses an acrylic paints on canvas or canvas panels (about 11x14 inches). All materials will be provided so you'll only have to bring a date or friends for maximum fun. When finished, you will take your painting with you while we collect all the supplies for future use. You are encouraged to take lots of pictures throughout the process and tag @makarathachsernett and @otakuloungelou when posting to social media. You may be featured in our stories and feed. Otaku Manga Lounge will have Asian themed snacks and drinks available for purchase throughout the event. There are no steps at this facility, and is accessible for those with mobility concerns.
