A mellow, high-quality loose leaf green tea with a floral aroma. This tea has subtle fruity flavors, with grassy and nutty notes shining throughout. The production process for this tea resembles the process of a classic green tea in the Darjeeling Hills. The carefully hand-plucked tea leaves are brought in the factory and allowed to sit for a very brief time before directly heated through the dryer. This is a crucial step to halt any oxidation process that might occur. Unlike other green teas, the rolled teas are allowed to rest for a while before re-drying when the tea is at the peak of its aroma. Finally, it is hand-sorted and multiple grades of the same teas are created. Tea Origin: Mt. Kanchenjunga, Nepal Altitudes: 4200 - 6000 feet above sea level Infusion: Bright & Coppery Caffeine: Low Steeping Instructions: 1 tsp of tea for 8oz water. Steep at 180⁰ for 4 minutes.
