The square neckline is framed by two wide-set straps that sit securely on the shoulder, and the bodice is shaped close through the torso, following the body down to a defined seam at the waist. From there the skirt is gathered in all the way around for soft, even fullness, falling with plenty of swing and movement to the knee. It's cut from crisp, breathable 100% cotton with enough body to hold its shape, and fully lined for modesty and easy wear. It is both tailored and simple as well as soft and romantic — a true wardrobe staple in a clean natural white, easy to dress up or down and layer across seasons. Fabric: Every Jane is hand-block printed in Jaipur using a craft 500 years older than fast fashion — wooden blocks carved by hand, dipped in natural dye, and pressed into the fabric one stamp at a time. Designed on our homestead in rural Ohio, made in Jaipur by families who have practiced this tradition for generations. Because each piece is made entirely by hand, no two are identical — slight variations in color and pattern are not flaws, they are fingerprints. The mark of something real.
