He obtained M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry. He has over 17 years of teaching experience. His research interests include the synthesis of nanomaterials, their characterization, and biological applications, crystallography and environmental Chemistry. He has several scientific research publications in various reputed international journals, as well as textbooks, book chapters, and patent publications to his credit. Dr. Hemantkumar N. Akolkar, PhD, is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Rayat Shikshan Sanstha's Abasaheb Marathe Arts and New Commerce Science College, Maharashtra, India. He is an acclaimed academician and researcher who has worked for the last 14 years at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
