Sheep breeding is an important part of the island's cultural heritage and contributes to the unique environment on Læsø. Laesoe Yarn was founded in 1894 and the company has always been recognized for its high quality 'Laesoe Plaid®' products, all made from 100% pure new wool. The Laesoe Plaid® is produced from the best quality of raw wool. The wool is sorted into a number of natural colours which are used in different bindings to create a beautiful range of plaids. The Laesoe Plaid® has preserved the skin-friendliness and softness of natural wool. These high-quality products will be a daily pleasure for a long time to come!
