About Seek & Swoon

Seek & Swoon is a collection of modern throw blankets designed to bring a sense of warmth, texture, and story into everyday spaces. Founded by Jala Smith-Huys and based in Portland, Oregon, each design is created with a focus on pattern, color, and how a piece will live in the home. Many of the blankets are inspired by places, but the goal is simple: to create something that feels both beautiful and easy to live with. All throws are made in small batches at a family-owned American knitting mill using recycled cotton. They’re soft, durable, and designed for real life—draped over a sofa, layered on a bed, or wrapped around you at the end of the day. Throws are available in three sizes: • 30x40 (baby) • 50x60 (standard) • 60x80 (large) Custom colorways are available, and we enjoy collaborating on special projects with shops, hotels, and other partners.
