A delicious, organic black tea that is perfect to start your day. Benifuki owes its name to the cross between two different Camellia Sinensis Assamica cultivars from northern India. This tea is the product of a research project to find an ideal hybrid that is resistant. Since the early 90s, when Benifuki was introduced to the market, it has become very popular with tea producers as it is much less prone to disease than other local cultivars. In terms of taste, this tea offers an aromatic palette that can easily be compared to a high quality Indian or Chinese black tea.
