The quality isn't as good as I'd hoped for the price point and I was not aware of the tarrifs charges and extra fedex fees associated with this item. I would have preferred the item had tariffs included and a heads up that there was another fee from fed ex.

Hi Holly, thanks so much for the order and the feedback - we honestly appreciate it. The tariff charges have been very confusing for us too.. As well, there used to be a "de minimis" exemption between the US and Canada where you would not have been charged any tax or duties on orders under $800 but that was removed by the US Government. We have clients who are not charged tariffs at all and then many who are. For now, there doesn't seem to be a pattern. Several months ago, we did change our main picture on our shop profile to advise customers to be aware of the tariffs. We do not charge the actual tariff, that is handled by Homeland Security in the US and we are in Canada. So, while I know that doesn't really help your situation, I do want you to know that we try to keep our customers informed but so much of it is out of our hands.
