Although it was mathematically described for the first time by Waclaw Sierpinski in 1915, the pattern itself has been found Italian cathedral mosaics dating to the 13th century. The pendant comes in your choice of gold or silver colored polished steel, hung from a gold plated or silver steel chain respectively, or an adjustable black leather cord. You may also choose the orientation which appeals most to your eye: point up (the traditional Sierpinski Triangle representation)...or point down (adding a touch of Modern Art Deco flair).
