This is an old, very unusually designed object. Its contorsion, however, is very typical of the Dogon people and employs the lost wax brass casting technique typical among many African peoples. It measures: 3 1/4 x 1 1/4 x 1 3/8" (8 x 3 x 3.5 cm)
