Antique industrial wooden textile spool. It was commonly used in textile mills during the late 19th century. It features a turned hardwood barrel with a wide circular base and a flared top natural color rim. The Irish Spools have a slight downturn of the top similar to a mushroom shape and are very rare. 7.5" tall x 3 1/4" around the base. Great for home decor and crafts.
