Mate is an adaptogenic plant because it has both a stimulating and relaxing effect, which is what makes it so powerful! Our mate is mild, comparable to green tea, with a touch of extra character. You can enjoy it throughout the day, just like the Gauchos, guardians of the pampas plains, traditionally do. We import our mate directly from producers in southern Brazil. PREPARATION TIPS: 🇦🇷 Argentine style (with a filtering straw) 1. Fill a cup or mug with 30 cl. 2. Add 1 tablespoon of mate. 3. Pour hot water (max 80°C). 4. Place your filtering straw and let it steep for 5 minutes or more. Enjoy, then re-steep the same dose several times! 🇫🇷 French style (like an infusion) With a teapot/tea filter/infuser mug... 1. For 30 cl of water, add 1 tablespoon of mate. 2. Pour hot water (max 80°C), let it steep for at least 5 minutes. Serve, enjoy, then re-steep up to 2 to 3 times! For optimal tasting, we recommend consuming it in a gourd, which allows for better flavor release.
