Description
100% organic, our Potting Mixes are specially formulated for specific types of plant roots to provide the perfect balance of aeration, hydration, and access to nutrition. Delicate Root is perfect for plants like ferns, peace lilies, begonias, and African violets that need a little more water retention but still require excellent aeration to prevent root rot. This potting mix contains coconut chips and perlite to let roots breathe, coconut coir peat to retain water without suffocating roots, and horticultural charcoal to hold nutrients for your plants to access as needed. If you are looking to repot your tropical houseplants, epiphytes, anthuriums, and other plants with more rope-like roots, use our Ropey Root Potting Mix - formulated with even more chunks to let those roots breathe and grow.

I've been using Southside products myself for a couple years & was thrilled for the opportunity to offer their products to my garden center customers. Prompt fulfillment made it so customers I told to keep an eye out for these products come our spring opening (still two weeks out) were able to get them earlier than anticipated, helping stave off some of the gardening itch by focusing on indoor plants a while longer.
