The Originale is an artisanal, small batch, extra virgin olive oil made from 3 olive varietals; Moraiolo, Frantoio, and Leccino. It has won a Gold Award at the New York International Olive Oil Competition in March of 2024. It's peppery, aromatic flavor makes it perfect for drizzling and finishing all your dishes. Made in the mountains of Umbria, Italy. The Originale has an Extremely High Polyphenols content, just short of 700 mg/Kg Always harvested early, always harvested by hand. And we put the harvest date right on the bottle. Palate: Intensely herbaceous. Bright and alive with a harmony of tomato, apple, and fresh cut grass. Finish: balanced aroma with notes of arugula, aromatic herbs, and a gentle spiciness. Pairings: pairs well with vegetables and salads, grilled fish or white meat, steamed mussels, fresh cheese, and bread. Packaging: bottle 16.9 fl. oz.
