Our jams are artisanally made in Calabria by a small company located in the middle of the orchards. The fruits travel very few kilometers between the place of harvest and their transformation. Like in France, Italian jams contain fruit, cane sugar, and zero preservatives! Italians mostly eat them for breakfast on bread, but also with a selection of cheeses - always served at our place during aperitivo time - accompanied by fresh and dried fruits (walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, etc.). This delicious marmalade is truly a regional specialty. A fruit little known in France (except in Corsica), the citron is a spectacular citrus fruit, with a very thick, bumpy rind, but very little pulp and juice. Around Santa Maria del Cedro, in Calabria, in the heart of a region called the "Riviera of Citrons," the citron trees benefit from a coastal micro-climate and their fruits are of exceptional quality.
