The chain adds about 4 inches. The basket itself measures about 9Wx6H inch. Great for any room and are great for indoors. Keep in mind that these are rustic, chippy paint, etc. The paint is a chalky paint. So buy accordingly. You may see metal exposed etc.. all on purpose to give it that antiqued, aged look.
