Description
Sea Turtle Hatchlings begin life in an egg, which they must break through with a small egg tooth. From there, they wait until the cover of darkness to make a mad dash for the relative safety of the sea. Once in the water, they continue swimming until they reach deeper waters. History: Turtles first appear in the fossil record alongside the earliest dinosaurs in the Triassic period, around 245 million years ago. Dinosaurs have been extinct for 65 million years, but turtles live all over the planet, on land and sea, having survived several major mass extinctions. Scientific Name: Chelonia mydas. Characteristics: This figure shows the tiny Sea Turtle Hatchling just emerging from its egg, preparing to scamper to the sea. These cute figures would be fitting decorations or giveaways for an environment-themed gathering or as wedding favors. Size: These Sea Turtle Hatchling mini figures are about the size of a large grape, around 1" long. All of our products are Non-toxic and BPA free.

We love the quality and price point of almost everything from Safari, and have re-ordered several times. My problem is with Good Luck Minis, in sets of 192 for $65. The quality is like a rubber eraser and they are tiny. I would have to sell these for $.75 each to make them worth putting in my shop. I don't feel comfortable charging even that much because the quality is so poor. They are also NOT returnable. Very disappointing!
