Hazy and Honeyed depicts the Big Sur coastline, one of my favorite places. When I lived in San Francisco, the city’s pressures often loomed over my escapes here. This piece is a reminder to reframe those intrusions as signs of how deeply we need nature—rather than letting them steal the joy.
