We make our 100% cacao powder from the bean! We're one of the only chocolate makers in the world who roast, press and grind our own hot cocoa. This translates into incredible TRUE cacao flavor. .Most hot cocoa is alkalized, which means it’s washed with a solution of potassium carbonate. This removes most of the natural cacao flavor and also a significant amount of the beneficial flavanols. But our cacao powder is NEVER alkalized, so you’ll always taste the true flavors of the cacao!

You can truly taste a difference in this cocoa! It is so delicious, unique and rich! I'm glad that the packaging says their process and how it's different. That helps sell it since it is a higher end cocoa. If someone is used to buying Swiss Miss cocoa then the price would definitely deter them, but once they read your story they understand! I've had many customers comment on how delicious it is and they've been back for more
