𝐒𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬: • Shire Iron 1/4p • Shire Iron 1p • Shire Iron 10p Three solid iron coins from the Shire, struck during a time of great turmoil. The design, metal, and denomination have all changed compared to the versions before Shire Year 1419. The lovely tree that normally graces coins of the Shire has been replaced by a large "S". The Shire Silver Shilling has been replaced by the iron 10p, the Shire Penny for the iron 1p, and the Shire Farthing for the tiny iron 1/4p. The coins are struck in scrap iron. It is unclear if the "S" on each coin stands for Shire, Sackville-Baggins, or Sharkey. I continue to be extremely happy with SPM products. But this review is a nod to their buying policies. I run a very small shop and we don't have room for lots of minimum purchase quantities and high reorder prices that force a small shop to buy more than they can store. SPM is one of those rare shops that participate in the Insider program, have a small reorder minimum AND no qty requirements. I can buy 1 coin or 10. This allows small shops like mine a true control over what we buy. Thanks SPM!
