How to give life to simple gourds? This funny snail represents what the artisans are capable to do with imagination, passion and flexibility. We have a great time putting a simple gourd as the snail's shell, applying different techniques like pyrography, hand carved and polished while creating the snail's body in ceramic and painting it in a funny way. The funny snail was made by a community of artisans in the center of Peru, to offer you a eco friendly holiday season. All our gourds are biodegradable, when you consider that it’s time for its second life, please bury in the ground (including the wood Shaquira), it will help as fertilizer and nutrients for the soil.

It took a lot longer to arrive because of Covid but customer service was wonderful. As soon as the goodies arrived we were selling them. The unicorn was an instant hit.
