Description
Pastelmat is a unique surface for pastels and colored pencils. It offers exceptional control for rich painterly effects. Pastelmat accepts multiple layers of pigment due to its velvety textured surface and makes blending colors effortless yet precise. Holds up to water or solvent-based washes for underpainting. There's no need for a fixative with Pastelmat as its surface holds the pigment deeply. Pastelmat supports all pastel types including Cray-Pas, Pan Pastels and oil pastels. Pads are bound with a glassine barrier sheet between each page to prevent smudging. Three sizes available: 7 x 9.5", 9.5 x 12", 12 x 15.5". 12 Sheets per pad. Seven palettes available. Made in France by Clairefontaine.

Everything was meticulously packed. Each glass bottle of ink was wrapped in ecologically friendly packing materials and care was taken so that nothing was damaged in shipping. Shipping was efficient. The quality is excellent and all products were as described.

We own an art and creative supply store and were stocking the mixed media Paint-On paper line through our main distributor. I was so excited to see this company on Faire bc it allows me the freedom to order the paper when I need vs waiting to do our huge inventory orders which happen less frequently. This paper is a favorite for myself as an artist and my customers love it as well. Fast shipping. Wonderful products.
