Pastelmat is a unique surface for pastels and colored pencils. It offers exceptional control for rich painterly effects. Pastelmat accepts multiple layers of pigment due to its velvety textured surface and makes blending colors effortless yet precise. Holds up to water or solvent-based washes for underpainting. There's no need for a fixative with Pastelmat as its surface holds the pigment deeply. Pastelmat supports all pastel types including Cray-Pas, Pan Pastels and oil pastels. Pads are bound with a glassine barrier sheet between each page to prevent smudging. Three sizes available: 7 x 9.5", 9.5 x 12", 12 x 15.5". 12 Sheets per pad. Seven palettes available.
