Spotted Octopus Pendant Tan or Carmel colored I have been studying Sealife animals such as this Octopus and this pendant came about as a result of my interest in sea life animals. I try to observe the octopus while they are in their natural environment. At times I take photos of them or acquire pictures from the web and study them in their natural surroundings and then I begin the process of changing the glass to art using fire. I melt glass rods and add different colors to try to imitate their design. At times it may take me a number of tries before I actually get them to come out successfully. There are other glass artists out there trying to make glass animals such as sea life but only a few have really mastered the art.
