About Michelle Chang

I started my jewelry company in my native city of NY in 2007. I studied fine art, design, and architecture and was an interior designer and editorial illustrator before I became a jeweler. Today, I'm located in southern California where I and my assistants hand make every piece in my sunny Los Angeles studio, with the help of the company's furry mascot canines, Bing and Indy. My designs have a modern yet timeless feel, with a distinct but subtle edge. I find my inspiration from many sources including my love of nature, art, travel, SCUBA, design and architecture. For me, jewelry making is drawing, design, sculpture, and craft embodied in a tiny wearable object which I hope will provide lasting meaning and value to the wearer.Read their story
