You may be surprised to learn that nearly every coffee shop uses boxed concentrate to make their chai drinks. Once you make it yourself, you'll be amazed at the difference in flavor, not to mention the money you can save by making it at home! Perfect Chai: Deeply spiced and lightly sweetened, chai is a blend of black tea and warm spices prepared with a generous amount of milk. It's delicious, healthful, and comforting. 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Cinnamon, ginger, green cardamom pods, black tea, allspice, cloves, black pepper. Contains caffeine. 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: As loose leaf tea: Use 1-2 Tbsp per 8oz of boiling water. Steep 3-5 minutes or to taste. Add sweetener and milk to taste. 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝: Boil 2 Tbsp of chai blend and 2 tsp sugar in 1 1/4 cups of water for 2-5 minutes.
