Kantha is a traditional stitch from West Bengal, where lines of thread are carefully stitched across layers of recycled saree material. Our assorted Christmas blankets are made from five layers of recycled saree. These blankets not only add a festive touch to your holiday home but also empower the women who create them! Measurements: Approximately 3ft x 6 ft Material: Recycled Saree Fabric. The reds featured in our blankets is a more traditional Bengali light / bright red, which typically fade or bleed over time making them appear faded or "pink". While we aim for true reds in our Christmas collection, some faded tones may appear, adding to their authentic handmade charm. Every Kantha Throw Blanket goes through the hands of 5 women and provides approximately 30 hours of work! OUT OF STOCK?
