In the 19th century, amateur naturalists preserved their botanical specimens in herbarium collections. Pressed flat and carefully labeled, they served as aids in identifying different species and cultivars. This card features Butterflyweed, a wildflower native to the Midwestern US and one of several varieties of milkweed, a favorite of butterflies and other pollinators. These A2 note cards measure 4.24" x 5.5" and are blank on the inside, ready to receive your messages.
