Artwork Details: Letting go is always layered—pride and ache in the same breath. In this collage, a young bird lifts from the nest into a blue-grey sky where the words “time to fly” lift overhead. Hidden within the bird are “congratulations” and “goodbye little one.” I made this piece thinking about all the small hands we eventually have to release. It’s a celebration of flight—and of the love that made it possible. Print Details: Size: 8x10 print of my original mixed media collage artwork described above. Printed on high quality, 100 lb recycled white matte cardstock with archival ink. Small white border for framing.
