In this territory, various native almond cultivars have developed, among which the Filippo Cea from Toritto stands out, a fruit with an intense flavor, rich in essential oils and monounsaturated acids. The Toritto Almond is a Slow Food presidium, and it is this fruit that distinguishes the Mandorle Atterrate. This sweet is prepared with few and simple ingredients: almonds and 70% extra dark chocolate.
