The Chicago Board of Trade Building stands at the foot of the LaSalle Street "Canyon", a nickname given to the tall, steep buildings along the narrow street in the heart of Chicago's financial district. Built in 1930, the art-deco building was originally built for the Chicago Board of Trade and is a National Historic Landmark.
