If they were painted on traditional canvas, the price would be significantly higher. That said, these door hangers are made to hang outside. Many people choose to hang them inside. They measure generally 24"x 22"x.25. They are meant to be seen from the curb, providing whimsy and color from afar, and special treats up close.
