How This Handmade Moonstone Ring Is Made Each raw black moonstone ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every stone for its depth and flash, then encase it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques. Copper grows directly around the stone through an electrical process, forming the band organically. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every handmade ring from this studio is one of a kind.
