Description
British Breeds is made up of two different yarns; Pure British Breeds and Faded British Breeds. Pure British Breeds is an undyed breed-specific British wool range. The fleece of each sheep breed has evolved to suit the environment these animals have grown in. This means the yarns in this range have their own unique characteristics. Faded British Breeds is a subtle washed-out colour range that blends fibre from a North of England Mule (this is a cross of a Bluefaced Leicester Ram and a Northumberland Mule Ewe) with less than 25% dyed British wool. The natural kemp in this fleece gives the yarn an authentic British wool look. Learn more about the sheep breeds we use in our yarns! 100% of our wool comes from non-mulesed sheep. ///// • Fiber Content 100% breed specific British wool • Yardage approx. 223 yds per 100g • Gauge 23 sts = 4” / 10cm • Care Instructions Hand wash in cool water. Dry flat.

The solid colors of the Ideal line are not normal quality. There is very poor dad application, white spots and general color inaccuracy in a yarn that I have sold for many many years.
