It represents the staff of Asclepius son of Apollo, who was known for his ability to heal the sick, and is often confused with the caduceus, the symbol of Hermes. This handmade piece is cast in sterling silver, oxidized in recesses to enhance the fines detail of this 1.75" long pendant. It is suspended on an 18" Sterling Silver chain.
