Before First Use -Wash the carafe thoroughly with warm water. -Clean the inside and outside using a solution of fresh lemon juice (or white vinegar) and a small amount of salt. -Rinse well with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Daily Use -Fill with drinking water and enjoy throughout the day. -Empty, rinse and allow the carafe to air dry after use. -Refill with fresh water daily for the best experience. Cleaning -Hand wash only. -Do not use a dishwasher. -Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool or harsh scouring pads, as these may scratch the copper surface.
