Pin your heart on someone's sleeve and they'll wear your love all year long. Our brooches are beautifully crafted papercasts pulled from historic European baking molds. Hand-painted and gilded, we coat them in a high-resin (non-tacky) beeswax for long-lasting wear. Four unique heart designs are painted in a variety of colours and gilding treatments, each one unique. Brooches are approx. 1" to 2" high and very durable. Our paperclay (recycled paper), once molded and dried, forms a stiff, strong and beautifully detailed piece. Small button magnets secured to the back let you wear the brooch without pinning your fabric. Just place the thin magnetic backing piece inside your blouse, scarf, etc., and the brooch on the other side, and viola! Magnets hold the brooch very securely. (And they double as fridge magnets!) Assortment of 12 brooches includes a well-mixed variety of styles and colours. Packaged separately in re-sealable cello bags.
