This is the January miniature I have made as part of the 'Miniature of the Month" collection. I plan to make a new mini design for each month, 12 different design a year. I will make a batch of 30-50 pieces for each design. These will be a limited edition - so once they are gone that is it! I will create a listing for each design that will be available until that style is sold out. This is a fun way for miniature collectors to get some new beauties and for me to try out some new ideas that may be hard to repeat. These tiny pots are little gems. Each miniature is individually thrown and glazed. People have many different uses for these little bud vases - curio shelf art, tiny flower vase, toothpick holders, spices, scented oils, and much more. These also make wonderful 'mommy pots' to hold the precious bouquets picked just for mom. I develop and make all my own glazes. I use many layers to achieve a rich and varied finish. This little vase has a bright pink covered with a aqua green and topped with a rich plum at the rim. Six layers of glaze are applied to this tiny vase to achieve a rich varied finish, making a truly stunning little piece. All my pottery is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
