This ink is handmade in our Dorset studio using natural ingredients to a medieval recipe with a modern twist. Iron Gall ink is the perfect black ink for modern calligraphy. Traditionally Iron Gall ink erodes nibs quickly due to it's high acidity, our ink has powdered egg shell added to balance the Ph, meaning nibs last much longer. This ink has been designed for use with a dip pen. 15ml

I love the calligraphy line from A L'AISE LTD and the products are selling. I would love to order more, but probably won't because of the difficulties I had with immigrations because there was ink in the order, and the fact that I had to pay $69 in duties despite the fact that Faire was supposed to pay duty fees. I had to email Faire several times before getting a credit for that. I wish it wasn't such a hassle and expense to order from abroad- I love the products from the UK.

The products arrived nicely. However, I need some writing samples of ink colors that were suppose included with the order, but wasn't there. I tried to contact the maker without any luck so far.
