Shipping & Ordering Policies We ship Monday and Tuesday each week to minimize transit delays. We use carriers that typically deliver in 2–5 business days, including FedEx, UPS, and USPS. We are not responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, holidays, or operational disruptions. Once an order is handed to the carrier, transit risk lies with the carrier, and claims are evaluated according to our damage policy. Most plants ship in their nursery pots. Taller 6", 8", and 10" plants may ship bare root and must be potted on arrival. Plants ship unlabeled, dry, and may need cleanup or watering before resale. Natural variation in size, shape, color, and fullness is expected. Listed sizes represent typical ranges, not exact measurements. Plants may not be blooming. Plants may arrive showing seasonal dormancy (reduced foliage, color changes, slower growth). Dormancy and mild shipping stress are normal and not considered damage. Assorted items are a random mix from dozens of varieties and will differ from photos. Varieties are not labeled. Cold Weather, Heat Packs & Shipping Adjustments We discourage shipping if daytime temperatures are below 25°F anywhere along the transit route. Heat packs are available at the retailer’s cost. They are sold two per shipping box, and quantities are adjusted to match your order size. If heat packs are included, your order will be automatically upgraded to Express Shipping at your expense. Heat packs offer supplemental warmth but do not guarantee prevention of cold damage. We reserve the right to hold orders during extreme heat or cold to protect plant quality. It is the retailer’s responsibility to notify us if an order should be delayed from the scheduled ship date. If no request is made, the order ships as scheduled. Damage & Claims Policy Any damaged plant must be photographed and reported within 48 hours of delivery. All plants must be shown together in the damage photos for the claim to be reviewed. Claims are evaluated individually, and replacements or credits are issued per item. Qualifying damage includes broken stems, rot, or major loss. Minor blemishes, soil mess, shipping stress, or a few fallen leaves—especially on delicate varieties—are not considered damage. Express shipping reduces transit time but does not guarantee carrier performance or prevention of cold/heat-related issues.
