The approximately 33cm paracord loop lets your neck through to keep your hands free. This buckle is manufactured by the American producer of Paracord who has been producing this “cord” for 200 years, and also supplies the US military. Originally, the Paracord is a nylon rope that consists of a set of braided threads in a woven nylon shell. Its name comes from its use by American paratroopers during the Second World War. After landing, the parachutist cut the rope, and used it for many purposes. The leather part is then glued and sewn by hand in our workshop in Arles, Provence. Our leathers all benefit from vegetable tanning. The color and appearance of leather will evolve over time towards a beautiful patina a little darker. The ring is solid, made of stainless steel. This super practical model is available in other color combinations and another length called the choker.
