How This Handmade Ring Is Made Each raw amber ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every piece of amber for its color and natural form, then encase it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques. Copper grows directly around the amber through an electrical process, forming the band organically. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every handmade ring from this studio is one of a kind. Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions, perfumes, or chemicals. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can dry and crack the resin over time.
