The distinctive green glaze on Tamegroute pottery is crafted using locally sourced copper oxide found in the region. The process entails applying a glaze made from this copper oxide onto the ceramic vessel, followed by firing it in a kiln. During the firing process, a spectrum of colors emerges, ranging from bright green to deep olive green, influenced by the temperature and duration of firing.
